Cherisse Majors

Hello! My name is Cherisse Majors, and I am the Compliance Specialist at RJA. I am a proud alumni of UC Santa Barbara, where I studied Sociology, Applied Psychology, and Education. As an undergrad, I spent time researching early childhood education, working in pre-schools and elementary schools. I loved to witness how influential adults can be in shaping young minds -- I knew then and there that I would want to be part of that group someday. 

 

My career has taken me down many roads, and the one I often returned to was education. By the time I joined RJA, I had equipped my tool belt with various skills - from tutoring students in SAT/ACTs, college application consulting, learning how to leverage data in spreadsheets, and working effectively in small business management and healthcare. 

 

RJA has allowed me to continually grow, equally learning from others while being able to practice the spirit of entrepreneurship and finding innovative ways to make data speak. I hope the work that I am doing continually speaks of the amazing work accomplished by our site administrators, teachers, and students. I look forward to continuing the mission and watching the next generation transform into leaders.
