Belle Duong

Occupational Therapist

My name is Bellé (pronounced Bell-ay), though most of my students know me as Ms. Bell. I’ve been an occupational therapist since 2017, beginning my journey in a pediatric clinic. It was during this time, while working with a few homeschooled students, that I discovered my passion for school-based occupational therapy. In 2021, I fully transitioned to supporting special education students at five of the Real Journey Academies' campuses. As an occupational therapist, I focus on enhancing abilities such as fine motor and visual perceptual skills to empower students to thrive in their school environment.

My core focus is to ensure that students feel seen, take pride in their achievements, and are empowered to reach their fullest potential. The most fulfilling aspect of my work is witnessing the “ah-ha!” moments when a concept clicks for a student. Being part of the students’ growth and seeing them overcome challenges is truly a privilege. I look forward to continuing my work with Real Journey Academies and supporting students in their journey of growth and success.
